Pricing

One line on one invoice.

Pricing is per vehicle, per month, and every plan includes unlimited office, driver and family accounts — you pay for vehicles, not for people. Most operators pay us less than they were paying the two or three vendors we replace, because there is no hardware to buy, no separate parent-app contract and no three-year term. Tell us your fleet size and we will put a written number in front of you.

In context

What the rest of the market charges.

The comparison that matters is total cost: what you pay once hardware, a second vendor for the parent app, and a three-year term are all counted in. Read the ranges below, then ask us to put our number beside them for your fleet.

How Nice Technologies pricing compares with other categories of fleet software
Category Typical US price Usually includes Usually doesn't
Enterprise telematics suites ~$25–45 per vehicle / month, plus $150–300 hardware per vehicle, often on a 3-year term GPS, ELD compliance, cameras, deep safety analytics Short terms; family-facing communication; a hardware-free option
Maintenance-first tools ~$4–10 per vehicle / month Vehicle records, service scheduling, work orders GPS tracking, dispatch, telematics — you buy those separately
K-12 routing platforms Commonly $7,000–50,000 per year for routing, with GPS, parent app and analytics as separate modules Deep route optimisation and student rostering A single contract; maintenance and shop management
Nice Technologies Quoted per fleet, per vehicle / month. No hardware to buy, no second contract for the parent app, month-to-month available. Maintenance, routing, dispatch, compliance, driver app and parent app on one subscription Hardware resale, multi-year lock-in, and per-seat charges

Worked example

A 60-bus contractor, first year

Using the mid-points of the ranges in the table above, for an operator that needs routing, tracking, maintenance and a parent app — which is what a student transportation contract actually requires. The point is which line items exist, not the exact totals.

Every one of those lines becomes a single subscription with us, and the hardware line disappears entirely. That is where the saving comes from — not from being the cheapest per-vehicle rate, but from the four invoices you stop paying.

We have used mid-points rather than best cases, and we have not counted the staff time three vendor relationships cost you. Send us your real quotes and we will put our number in the empty column.

Competitor figures are indicative market ranges compiled from publicly available pricing and industry reviews in 2026, not quotes, and the worked example above is an illustration built from those ranges rather than from any specific vendor's proposal. Questions

The things people ask before signing.

Why isn't the price on this page?

Because a per-vehicle number on its own tells you very little. What you actually pay depends on fleet size, whether you need the parent app, and how much of your existing telematics we read from instead of replacing. A written quote after a 30-minute walkthrough is a real answer; a number on a web page is a guess you would have to correct later. Ask and you get it in writing the same week — no call required if you would rather have it by email.

Will you cost less than what we run now?

Usually, for operators running separate routing, telematics and parent-app vendors — because those become one line and the hardware line goes away. Against a single cheap maintenance-only tool, no: we do considerably more than one. Send us your current invoices and we will tell you honestly which of the two you are, before you spend time on a demo.

Do I have to buy hardware from you?

No. We don't resell hardware. If you already run telematics, ELDs or cameras, we read from them. If you have nothing, we can point you at options and you buy direct.

What counts as a vehicle?

Any powered unit you actively manage in the platform. Trailers and non-powered assets are free. Vehicles parked for the season can be set inactive and are not billed.

Are user accounts extra?

No. Admins, dispatchers, mechanics, drivers and parents are all unlimited. Charging per seat would push you to share logins, which is the opposite of what an audit trail needs.

Why is the parent app a separate tier?

Because plenty of fleets — freight, courier, municipal — have nobody waiting at a curb and should not pay for family communication they will never switch on. Where you do need it, it is a small addition per vehicle on the same subscription and the same login system, not a second contract with a second vendor.

What happens if we leave?

You export everything — vehicles, drivers, routes, maintenance history, documents — in open formats. We delete your data on request.

Can we start small?

Yes. Start with one depot or one contract on monthly billing, prove it works, then roll it out. We would rather earn the rest of the fleet than lock it up front.
